I'm not sure how to read the Bladestorm rules for Shuriken Weapons.

A) Any to-wound roll of a '6' automatically causes a wound, regardless of weather the strength characteristic of the weapon could wound.

B) The strength of the weapon must be able to cause a wound, to begin with, for the Bladestorm rule to work.

I'm inclined to go with option A). What do you all think?

I play eldar a lot, and I play option A. 6's wound regardless.

Ugh I can see this is going to be a big debate issue amongst the regulars, I have always seen it and played it like option A.

I've always seen it played as A. Personally I just think of it like Rending, minus any effect on vehicles.

It is A, as. It does not require you to reference the to wind table

Its basically rending without any affect on vehicles, so yeah first one.

Yeah option A seems pretty clear.

While Not as clear as it could be(by adding the fragment: "regardless of enemy toughness value); it is pretty clear that T > 7 can always be wounded by at least a 6+; since most between T1-7 for Shuriken guns, and T8 for Shuriken Cannons are already wounded on a roll of 6 without the special rule(everything up to the last 6+ can be wounded via the matrix, so a rule that states a 6+ wounds within the matrix is a completely useless rule).
