Obviously the lack of models for the inquisition leaves it open to use whatever you can find on the market! sure you can use IG to fill carapace armour models and space marines for Power Armour but why do that when you can find new models! There are a few models found under the GK tab on GW website that list inquisition models, but most are finecast... so lets build a list of alternates

this to me would be cool for stormtroopers,

what are yalls thoughts/finds for Inquisition Models.

I have a feeling a thread like this has already been done in the past. As well as more than one for kitbashing GW bits.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
PS - I use Pig Iron Kolony Militia heads, cadian torsos and arms and catachan legs for my basic acolytes. The assassins, crusaders, servitors psykers and so on all use a mix of other gw bits...

Double-check the scale on the Eisenkern Stormtroopers before considering them - they're listed as 28mm, but I seem to recall a review saying that they stand a bit tall and thin, compared to GW models (more like true-scale 30/32mm). May be wrong, but it's worth a second look. If there aren't scale issues, though, I think they look great.

There's also the WGF Greatcoat troopers, which a number of people have already successfully subbed in as alternate IG/"not DKoK/Steel Legion."

The new witch elves could make decent death cult assassins, with some minor alterations.

I've used all sorts for my WIP Inq army, but here are the most common:

Crusaders: WFB Empire State Troops.

DCA: DE wyches and Dark Elf corsairs

Acolytes: WFB Empire troop bits, IG bits. Skaven+DE guns for underhive mutants/degenerates.

I'm working on something for Psykers using High Elf archers, but trying to find a replacement for their hideous heads is proving difficult. Flaggellants are also good for Psykers.

For my own part;

Crusaders - Elysians, power weapons, empire shields
DCA - Dark Elf Riders, Wyche Legs
Acolytes - Elysians, Empire Manaans Blades, Soon to be power armoured triios,
Priest - Elysians, Flagellant head, chain sword

Plans to use the new Dark Elf Executioners for Psykers (like the robes, skull masks, will turn spears into imperial staves and remove shields)

Soon his foes would learn that the only thing more dangerous than a savage three hundred pound brute is a savage three hundred pound brute with a plan - Ork Codex

You read my mind! This is exactly what i plan to do for 2-3 death cult assassins.

the only problem is finding someone to trade / sell a few spares. I don't really feel like ponying up 60 bucks for 10.

$60 for 10 is still better than $18 for 2. Well, if you are wanting 7 or more.

DE Wyches are perfect for DCA. And they are $29 for 10.
