A decades-long dispute over certain James Bond screen rights was settled today, paving the way for classic 007 villains such as Ernst Stavro Blofeld and SPECTRE to finally make their return to the silver screen.

Moral of the story is, don't screw people over and you won't be stuck in court for fifty years.

This could be awesome or it could make Austin Powers movies seem like a pre-quel.

I was hoping that the super-conspiracy in Quantum of Solace was actually SPECTRE, but it was so much lamer than that.

I got the feeling that Quantum was going to be a sort of 'not Spectre' as they couldn’t use actual spectre.

Give that the Quantum plotline had already been conveniently forgotten for Skyfall I can't see it being resurrected now they can use the real thing instead.
