So I have gotten into 40k and am writing a blog about it as this is my first ever foray into miniature gaming. Today I posted my first ever painted mini and the first 5 guys out of my IG army. Since my IG army will be mainly infantry, I have a lot of painting to do! I'll post weekly as I assemble and paint up my company of shadow corps who I have dubbed Blackadder's 110th.

Here's the link http://blackadder110th.blogspot.com.au/2013/11/cadians-assemble-captain-blackadder.html

Some pictures here would be apreciated, as a teaser at least. If you want to go the perfectionist way a lighter highlight on the edges of the cloth and especially the armour would look good. The first batch look nice but a little flat.

You shouldn't be worried about the one bullet with your name on it, Boldric. You should be worried about the ones labelled "to whom it may concern"-from Blackadder goes Forth!

I was thinking of going back and highlighting the armour in the future but I'm waiting to get a bit more steady as I did a poor job of it earlier

Thanks for the comment, considering it's my first batch ever I am more than happy with them. When I get a force up and running I'll go back over them and edge highlight the armour. I like the novelty of the blog, my own little project log in it's own little space in the internet, plus it's more organised because I'm going to but battle reports and observations about eventually.

I updated my blog http://blackadder110th.blogspot.com.au/2013/12/hobby-report-2-almost-squad.html, a bit of basing, converting and coating this week. Here is a pic, the rest is on the blog.

Haha, just read the fluff on your blog, Blackadder themed IG is just brilliant. I've been meaning to write some Blackadder 40k for ages, but you beat me to it! Great stuff regardless, I look forward to more.

The paint-scheme looks neat as well, nice and simple but still effective.
