Right, so I normally face BA and Chaos Marines - these are just fun games between me and two mates.

I wanted to include Calgar as I need something with the stats nearing a primarch, btw. I am open to good HQ build suggestions though, as well as any suggestions generally though.
How can I improve the list? Cheers for any help

Hello!

First the only problem I have with Calgar is he doesn't strike at regular Int. With his two PFs being very powerful....I would thinkn he would be able to learn or gain new technology to strike at an earlier Int. Other than that, he is a solid high point choice for a 'near primarch' HQ choice.

What are you going to be doing with the 2x5 man tacts? They are on foot and will miss most of the fight or will give your oppenent first blood. Maybe give them a Rhino as well...

Your Dark Angels look just fine but the Neplilim Jet Fighter is just done right horrible. Sure it gains +1 BS and +1 Hull Point over the Talon but beyond that...it isn't worth its points at all! Get another Talon instead!

Who is the Libririan going to run with??? Are you paying for a 4+ invul for your scouts? If so, not worth it as the ADL will give them a 3+ cover save. If for the Deathwing Knights....they have SS. Hope this all helps

But he is able to use a Power Sword if it's very important that he swings at I5, its a trade-off I guess, huh.. It would be nice to have I5 str 8.

And quite broken as well.
I am happy with my balanced and versatitle codex.
