Just a quickie to introduce mesen'! Far too old to be playing with soldiers, I've always liked the painting side and many years ago started with Fantasy stuff. After years away from it I recently got back into painting ww2 stuff and then started playing Bolt Action; I can honestly say its the first time I've enjoyed the playing as much as the painting!
Anyhow, that's basically my re-discovery of gaming. I look forward to learning lots from the good folk on this site..
Welcome aboard! Just started Bolt Action myself. I never thought I'd get into historicals but the prices are right (at least compared against most current fantasy and scifi miniature lines) and BA has some great rules. There's not a lot of BA discussion on Dakka just yet but it's certainly getting more popular.
When I look up I think of the great Waaagh! in the sky.
