In the warp, searching for Marbo

Using what I have, I threw together another list for my casual game this Thursday, and would like some feed back. I don't know what I'll be facing, but if it's SM or CSM, the people down at my FLGS have developed a habit of deepstriking/drop podding just to kill my Executioner. Let's just say after some of my past games, it's become top priority for my opponents.

This will be my first time using a ADL (the store's), and I'm hoping that it (and my small blob) will protect my Vanquisher as it does it's work. My Vetmeras and Executioner would then move for a midfield offensive (if not being bull rushed), and my Vet-kyries will swoop in for any objective/squad needing suicide attacking. Gave the Valkyrie missile pods to take care of enemies in cover (en mass) and such.

on the inf platoon I would honestly go with an autocannon instead of a plasma gun - you might think about swapping out the HWTs for something else but thats more taste

on your vets keep the same special weapon setup on all of them, do one plasma group and one melta group - I also believe that vets can throw demo charges from the chimeras not sure though, might be worth looking into

I would honestly go with something besides the vanquisher but thats more taste also .... running x2 executioners or 1 executioner and 1 demolisher would be a better fit I think.

2 vet chimeras and 2 leman russes are your main sources of hitting power .... I might swap all of the vets to melta & demolitions and run x2 executioners or x2 demolishers (instead of a plasma / melta vet mix & the vanquisher)

Squads in an infantry platoon can take one (1) special weapon and one (1) heavy weapons team, not two special weapons

I'd definitely take 2 budget inquisitors (25pts + 30 pts for lvl 1 divination).

They can give your lascannon HWT prescience (reroll to hit)

Or you could go for a more expensive option and take terminator armour + psycannon on them but that might break your fluff.

Alright, I gave the vets 3 of each instead of mixed weapons.

I only have 1 LR that can turn into a Vanquisher or Battle Tank

Same with the executioner. It can go demo, or punisher. I do have 2 Exterminators, but they can't be changed.

I have CCS commands to reroll to hit on my HWTs, and I don't have the inquisitor codex so that's out.

I personally prefer the Executioner over the Demolisher with it's three blasts over a single large blast. Sure, it can't insta-kill a mob of T4+, but it can sure cut them down, and it can help get multiple wounds on smaller units.

With the 2 special weapons on the inf platoon; I put them there to deter, or at least damage any incoming squad before they can charge. I can see the advantage of a HWT, without them they could just be sitting there doing nothing but being blown up by superior ranged weapons.

This is just a little bit more info.
