Hi guys I am pretty new to the forums and one thing I have had trouble with is finding any tournaments in Massachusetts, Providence region would be acceptable too. I am from the Cape so preferably nothing to far past Boston in Ma. I am not sure if this should go here or in find a game but all advice would be appreciated. Also will be going to VMI my jr/sr year of college so just wondering if there's any following down around Lexington Virginia?

You have a few options but the best tournaments in my opinion are at Battlegrounds Games and Hobbies. They have two locations; one in Abington and one in Plainville but the lions share of tournaments is at the Plainville location.Their forums are very active so take a look.

Bill beat me to it but BG events are the best and sometimes get 40+ players

I back the battlegrounds tournaments as well. They have a great atmosphere and draw a good amount of people while still being run very smooth and friendly. Plus they do other events besides hardcore tournaments.

Awesome guys thank you! After a quick look on google maps it seems I can take 495 almost the whole way so pretty convenient. Since it seems most of you have been there would size list would I be looking at for one of these events, 1500? 1850?

1850 is the usual singles point total

1k to 1250 for doubles. All tournies are usally on Saturdays and are pretty frequent. We see doubles and trios usually once every 3 months

Thank you. Just curious I'm going to run purely wolves but are allies, flyers, etc allowed? All are acceptable I presume?(more so I know what to expect)

Yes I run pure Wolves as well. If its in the rules its allowed there are no house rules in action so bring what you like.

There's also the people at Dorkamorka and the 'Arvard Ard Boyz to keep an eye out for events from. A whole bunch more if you want to go further west or north.
