I was thinking 2xmeltaguns for general infantry. Plasma pistol for vehicle and heavy bolted attack bike.

Depends on the codex but as a Dark Angel player, I've found the Black Knights to be highly effective against Necrons.

If your sporting C:SM, grav guns are gravy for killing crons

As a Necron player, do you have any Necron list in mind you will come across?
Weapons with lots of dakka, plasma gun or grav guns, are the best choices. Necrons have RP and so can come back anyway.

With the 13 armour shielding on a lot of necron vehicles I'd rather use the points on melta bombs rather than a plasma pistol if that's your main use for it. Otherwise a combi weapon might be more effective. Also with the mobility of the tanks the range of the multi melta attack bike might be useful. I usually fight mech necrons though so it depends.
