I'm redoing about half of my BA into successor chapters.

So far I have done Flesh tearers and angels sanguine but I am stuck on a lamenters tac squad.

I have started by going over with averland sunset and it's OK, a little blotchy occasionally but I'm alright with that

I am just not sure where to go with for a wash. I was thinking either Fugean orange, seraphim sepia or Agrax earthshade but am not sure.

I was then going to highlight with just flash gitz yellow after drybrushing with averland again.

As this is a second coat I really don't want to screw up as another will get rid of some of the detail.

Any info on what to do is appreciated

How I did the yellow part for my Howling Griffons is a base coat of thinned Averland Sunset, wash with Gryphone Sepia (the old wash but the new Sepia should work just as well), and then dry brushed either Yriel or Flashgits Yellow. Don't remember which one but will check when I get home.

It gave me a decent yellow that isn't to bright nor to orange. I will get some pictures latter if you would like.

If you like, I could walk you through how to do them like this (or not- because some people do not like the bright yellow!):

If I'd make a yellow army I would spray them black first, spray white over it in light strokes, so you'll get a darker color in the recesses for shading purposes but not necessarily needed. (Or just a white basecoat.) Then use a few layers of the Casandra Yellow wash over it and repair the flaws with Yriel Yellow.

That'd be great, I think that the bright yellow is really punchy and goes well with the Blood Angel ethos (of being punchy )

I saw a tutorial that used used a glaze of wild rider ed that made a nice yellow.

also I think Lamenters should have purple eyes for contrast.

The vehicles were army painter yellow and the infantry were white with a casadora wash
