My Astropath -
I wanted him to not be such a pansy in a fight, so instead of a whack-them-on-the-head-hard-staff, he's got a Chain-staff!
Also added lasgun so he can shoot with the rest of them instead of being a useless w***er. (Yes I know he doesn't actually shoot)

Apologies for the horrendous picture quality, it's a phone camera.

What do you guys think?

I'd like to make a comment but I really can't see anything other than a blur of blue and silver. Try posting a better pic, and you should probably put this in Painting and Modelling, as the Showcase is for finished minis only.

Mine is finished! I guess it doesn't come off with the picture... but yeah, I really do need a better Camera.

Can't even see anything, friend. I just have to ask, did you really think this photo was good enough for . . . any purpose whatsoever? Surely you looked at the picture when you took it, then while uploading, then after the post was made?

To better help display the miniature you may wish to use a white background so that the eye can better concentrate on the model, and you may also wish to use the macro setting on your camera (usually denoted by a flower symbol).

Further to Novelist47's rather helpful sig:

Take the picture on your phone, as close as possible whilst keeping in focus. Then, if the mini is lost in the frame, just crop the image to 'zoom in', save and post!

I take mini pictures on my iPhone liek this with little trouble.

Good luck!

I think you're basing could use a little work. Right now it looks like you just painted it brown and glued a smooth stone to it. If you're going to use real rocks, I'd recommend shale as it gives a more natural look at small scales. Otherwise, some decorative bark or thin pieces of stacked cork work well for stones too. If you're having trouble, search the web. There are tons of tutorials on easy ways to base your minis.
