Well, if you are going WAAC, why land raiders? IH Storm raven spam would be more effective. I would say something like this at 2k:

Chapter Master: TH, Shield E., bike, Artificier- 250

Ironclad, pod- 190
Ironclad, pod- 190
Ironclad, pod- 190

Tacs x5: pod- 105
Tacs x5: pod- 105
Scout snipers x5- 60
Scout snipers x5- 60

Talon: sky hammer 125
Talon: sky hammer 125

Raven- 200
Raven- 200
Raven- 200

Dreds come in T1 and pin enemy back. Talons escort ravens. You've got AA, AT, AI, a beatstick, only weakness is flimsy troops but you can hide them.

Rule #1 is Look Cool.

Heh.

This list isn't going to cut it at tournaments, and probably not even in friendly games.

Your and Raiders might be hard to kill, but so will everything in your opponent's army be as well, because your army just doesn't produce enough damage output. Especially when you fritter away points on empty Razorbacks with TL Lascannons and Stormbolters.

If you want to start doing well at tournaments with Marines, you should just start getting hold of Bikers.

I agree with this statement -- though I would go with a different execution.

Skies of Death is a list type I've been working on lately, and its a lot of fun. It's also fairly competitive. Its along the same concept as The Shrike was saying, but slightly different.
On that note though, The Shrike has me pondering ironclads -- simply for the AV13 front. That's harder to crack at range.

Triple land raiders, on the other hand, have a lot more counters. A FMC build will clobber them. Someone who brought enough melta will be a problem. Draigowing will rend them asunder. Land raiders don't do a lot of damage per point (unless you brought DA bolter banner LRCs)

If you want to make a triple land raider - kick in your teeth build, then run them with Codex:Inquistion and Iron Hands. Fill your land raiders with DCAs, Crusaders, and Priests then call it a day.
