Subject: Inspiration needed - Mostly grot 40k army
So I want some ork allies and want to use grots as much as possible, I have a few ideas that may need improvement. So far I was thinking...
A unit of gretchin with the red gobbo as a runtherder, cave squigs will be additional counts as runtherders.
They accompany a SAG. Will probably use the SAG model but could maybe make a grot buggy with SAG? Ideas???
Stormgrots - was going to use the stormboyz grot model in a variety of mid air poses with a variety of gretchin arms and legs from the gretchin sprue. These will be led by Zagstruk, can't really think of a way around using the normal model for him.
Kommangrots - I have ordered 10 of the oil drums for these and will use poses like lid ajar showing grot head, legs out for walking oil can, arms out, maybe one fallen over with grot falling out. Using Snikrot here again real model if I can't think of anything better...
Deff dredd - using the runtbot from FW with 2 skorchas added.
I also wouldn't mind using the ork barricades and FW quad gun as an ADL.
Its a pretty simple but fun ally addition for my Eldar. Big gunz or killa kans are the logical additions but can anyone think of anything that may be a fun idea?

Allies with eldar? they are desperate allies so in terms of play you wouldn't want them moving or using them to score (as you cant).
But in terms of modelling, there are a few grot armies on this site that are great inspiration! There is also a thread where a guy has created Tau allies that are all grots and his conversions are awesomely cool. But you can also do grot terminators, where a simple head swap with a grot head and perhaps a mechanical arm look pretty awesome. Heres one of mine.
Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.
