Spent around 3 hours just messing with some different techniques I wanted to mess with. I do a good bit of commission work and from time to time take a break to do one of my own models for funzies and to break up the workload. This color scheme is probably the 5th one I have tried with the necrons but will more than likely stick with. I need to paint some warriors to see how it looks on a smaller scale.

Any comments or criticisms are more than welcome.

I like that - good job

I've yet to experiment with anything that size with my own airbrush but am looking forward to doing so. My only quibble would be that the OSL could use more contrast...the light blue blends in a bit too much IMHO, particularly with the grey, but technically that's a great job, it'll be interesting to see how it looks on a Necron warrior or two

Looks good, like it a lot.

I think you did a great job with the shading on the main body, including the glow effect (which is not easy on lighter colors).

Good blending and control.

Would love to see your other vehicles.

thanks for sharing!

Great conversion work there, I love that look. And the paint job is great too. That overall look is fantastic. I bet the rest of your army looks great, love to see it.

How hard was it to reverse those wings like that?

Awesome conversion! looks seriously cool. Not to mention some nice ABing. I like the fading on the main body most

Reversing the wings was as easy as using a hand saw =)
