So, with the help of some Dakkanauts I've established a satisfying CSM Emperor's Children army list. It manages to include several types of units I really like and at the same time is, hopefully, a semi-competitive TAC list. What do you think about it?

HQ:
1 Chaos Lord in Terminator Armour, 183 pts. (MoS, PF, LC, SoC, VotLW)

Troops: 780 pts.
6x Noise Marines, 142 pts. (5x Sonic Blasters, Plasma Pistol on Champion)
6x Noise Marines, 142 pts. (5x Sonic Blasters, Power Sword on Champion)
6x Noise Marines, 142 pts. (5x Sonic Blasters, Power Sword on Champion)
6x Noise Marines, 177 pts. (CCW, Blastmaster, Power Sword and Doom Siren on Champion)
6x Noise Marines, 177 pts. (CCW, Blastmaster, Power Sword and Doom Siren on Champion)

Dedicated Transport:
2x Chaos Rhino, 104 pts. (Dozer Blade, Havoc Launcher)

Fast Attack:
1 Heldrake, 170 pts. (Baleflamer)

Elites:
8x Chaos Terminators, 325 pts. (Reaper Autocannon, Combi-melta, 3x Power Fist, 1 Chainfist, LC and Combi-melta on the Champion)

Heavy Support: 290 pts.
1 Chaos Predator, 140 pts. (Lascannon sponsons, TL Lascannon)
1 Chaos Vindicator, 150 pts. (Siege Shield, Combi-Bolter, Daemonic Possession)

Total: 1852 pts.

I like how you don't mix SB and BM in squads because they engage different targets.

Run that list. Drop a dozer blade to make it 1850 legal

Okay, depending on the opponent I may either drop a Dozer Blade or the VotLW from the Chaos Lord... choices! Also, it seems that even though I've eventually taken a Heldrake, it's still not enough to render the list firmly semi-competitive in people's eyes... That's fine, though, I don't plan on powergaming anytime soon.

Revenging myself upon my best friend and his ultra-annoying flying Hive Tyrant, however...

seems good to me....all about ignoring those cover saves these days. Its fine now, but ive seen some things that you might think about:

10 man SB squads in rhinos with icon of excess for FNP
an ADL with quadgun for cover saves on ur sonic bros and anti air
dropping the terminator death star and make the lord just a simple guy. Consider taking him as a tax instead of fitting him in somewhere so that you can get more dakka
dropping the vindicator for another tri-las predator. I think the single vindicator will get blown up easily unless you have it stay back as a deterrent for CC and stick it behind an ADL

The 10-man squad with FnP is my current configuration, until I buy more NMs. I'll try to assemble them in a way that would allow me to swap some gear and alternate between 5x6 and 3x10.

ADL with a Quad Gun is worth consideration. I could add it when upping the list to 1999/2000, or swap a Vindicator for it and some upgrades on other stuff from time to time.

The Terminator Death Star and Vindicator are taken because I like them, though, so here's the point where efficiency meets personal appeal. I also already own 1 Predator model and 1 Vindicator model, so that would require me buying another tank. Maybe later, but for now I need the monies for other stuff.
