hey I am getting into tyranids again and am making a list (1500 points) I want to go for monstrous creature list than all horde any good lists out there THANKS!

I don't have my codex with me, but if memory serves this should be right around 1,500:

This is assuming 225 points per Tervigon, allowing you to have some freedom with upgrade choices. It's not the most exciting list but it certainly is a good one imo.

Tervigons and Winged Tyrants are probably the best MCs in the book. You can exchange the Hive Guard and HQ Tervigon for a pair of Flyrants. Flyrants with Devourers and Biomancy are pretty nasty.

I'd be a little careful with the 10 gaunt broods as they can be easy kill points. You could also run slightly bigger broods with devourers to make them a threat as well.

Supposedly the tyranids are getting a new codex in some time in December or January. If you are getting back to playing Nids I would hold off on buying any new models until then. If you have all the models you need. Then any list with Hive Guard, Tervigon and Trygons will give you a good base.
