Hi everybody!
Going to enter a tournament this weekend (half-friendly) and need some pointer on my list.
I have only played with my dwarfs once before so I am at a beginners level when it comes to making a good army list. I have however scoured the internet for tips
This is my draft so far:
Lord:
Lord, shield, shieldbearers, Runes: Cleave (+1st), Snorri (+1 hit
cc), Fury (+1A), Resistance (Save re-roll), Preservation (Nullifies Killing blow)
(He ends up on re-rollable 1+ save and 5 attack that usually hits on 2+)
Heroes:
Thane,
BsB, shield, Runes: Cleave (+1st), Stone (1+save)
Runesmith, shield, Runes: Stone (1+save), Balance (takes a PD from opponent and adds to own
DD)
Runesmith, shield, Runes: Stone (1+save), Spellbreaking (dispel scroll)
Master Engineer, brace of pistols, Runes: Stone (1+save)
Core:
10x Quarrellers, Great weapons
18x Quarrellers, Great weapons, full command, rangers
15x Quarrelllers, Great weapons, full command
Special:
17x Hammerers, full command
Cannon, Runes: Forging (re-roll misfires), Burning (flaming attack)
Grudge thrower, Runes: Accuracy (re-roll Scatter dice), Penetrating (+1st), Burning (flaming attack)
Grudge thrower, Runes: Accuracy (re-roll scatter dice), Penetrating (1+
st)
Yea it is what we call a gun line, but hey to is dwarfs…
I end up on 1970 points here, 30 to go… And 15.8 in comp = 16 (comp system in this tourney is that 20=good and 0=bad as you take the difference x50, example: My dwarfs fight say a empire with comp 10, and my dwarfs have 16. I will therefore start with 300 victory points for the final match calculation as i have 6 more comp points and that 6x50=300
