Hey guys, well i'll be the first to say it Lelith is an awesome model but trying to get her into combat is sometimes a mess. I've been trying to think of the best ways to use her just for fun and I've decided I may try her in a beast pack with the baron and maybe a spirit seer. so I was wondering what is your experience with Lelith and what worked or didn't work running her?

thank you, hope to hear from you.

Lilly actually slows the beastpack down, but having another rush CC threat does help get her there. You could do a beastpack if you wanted, but the pack moving that slow is easy picking. Plus lilly is only T3 with a 4++, and a decent barrage will kill her.

She is best in a raider with aethersails. Your pick on bodyguards, I prefer grotesques for high T just in case something bad happens. Throw in a hamey for a second pain token so she gets furious charge to mitigate her S3.

She is great in a challenge against most enemies short of an avatar, bloodthirster, etc. Beware that even with a league apart, on the charge against WS6 you will only get about 2 wounds through. She can also slaughter squads with sheer volume. Just watch out for S6+

thanks Dr. Serling, yea slowing down the pack would be a huge problem. so maybe follow up in a raider with some grots is the best idea. appreciate the advice

Another trollworthy option is to run her with 9 bloodbrides, 3 shardnets. Find some nasty CC monster and just tarpit it to no tomorrow.

yea, that really seems like the best usage for her. she is a really cool character although not competitive, very fun to play

I run her with Grotesques like Dr. Serling said. Works well and she is very effective once she's actually in combat. The largest issue with the Grotesques option is that they tend to destroy what they touch which makes them susceptible for shooting attacks the following turn.

I think Grots is the best way to run her too. One thing to remember, Unholyllama, is she doesn't have to stick with the Grots when they get to the point of attack. It's often better for her to go one way and the Grots to go the other way. Against any bog standard troop, Lili will do just fine by herself (just make sure she keeps at least one PT). A full Tac squad, with Overwatch, is putting about 1 wound on her, and most of that is from the Overwatch damage. Of course, you really want the Grots to have a second baby sitter here, but that's often part of the equation anyway.

One thing I've been playing around with for awhile is sticking her in a foot slogging Grot star with a Spiritseer and Baron. It's a pretty nasty unit. Slow, but can split off in all sorts of directions once it gets to the point of attack.
