The list is centered around the command squad in the LRC with Azrael and having the bikes in range to annihilate any infantry that is nearby.

PFG libby is there for Telepathy to hopefully get Invisibility and if not telepathy is a fun discipline, and it is there to give the LRC a 4++.

Wow, small world, I made an almost identical list yesterday, but for 2,000 points haha.

So, obviously, I think the list will do fine. However, I think that you can make a few changes

Get rid of the Deathwing Vehicle upgrade. In my opinion, the only thing that is going to one-shot it is probably going to be melta, or a giant MC that would glance it to death with so many attacks anyway. And a melta platform is probably not going to get close enough given those hurricane bolters.

That opens up ~30 pts (if I remember correctly) to give your bike sergeants melta bombs, and possibly a combo-melta, just in case you need it. You could also give an auspex to the librarian (he's on a regular bike), which makes those plasma talons even deadlier if you need to ignore cover etc.

Personally, I give one of my bike squads plasma x2 instead of melta guns. With that many attack bikes I think you should have more than enough to deal with tanks. I keep the plasma because if the banner dies, it is nice to have some harder hitting weapons for anti-infantry duty that can pick up the slack. It's also nice to get 4 plasma shots and 16 bolter shots into a squad of marines or terminators etc, as it can thin them pretty fast. I like the flexibility, but that's just me Plus, if you are firing one melta shot at a tank, all those bolters are wasted (usually). I prefer to keep the jobs more universal, and plasma can be good against regular troops in conjunction with the bolters.

I must ask why azrael? I see no dual wing in this list so you could just take sammael instead

Good thinking

I think I'm gonna follow your advice, I was thinking about giving the sergeants melta bombs, and now you pushed me over the edge and I will. And deathwing vehicle does seem superfluous.

I'm not going to have Sammael put together in time for my game, otherwise I would go Sammael hands down.

I would still consider using Azrael. He allows you to take the regular squad inside the LRC, keeping the banner safe. When the LRC is popped they still have a 4+ invulnerable save. Sammael is also just slightly cheaper than Azrael so the points aren't too big a difference.

If you do it with all bikes, the banner will be with the PFG for a 4++ but that squad will be fired at like no tomorrow. It may be more flexible to have the command squad in the LRC with the PFG 4++, then have the 4++ from Azrael's helmet when / if the LRC crashes. The downside is that the banner will be less mobile if the LRC is downed, but as long as you even move bikes 1" they still get their jink. You should at least be able to get to mid-field no problem, where your bolters will be able to do well regardless.

Oh, another trick about using the banner in a bike squad. Have the banner squad end their move within 6" of a unit, say on the left flank, and have those bolters fire using the banner. Then turbo boost the banner over to a previously out of range squad to allow them to benefit from it when they fire later that turn
