I have a tourney coming up with limited FOC as follows:

0-1 HQ

1-2 troops

0-1 elite

0-1 fast attack

0-1 heavy support

Bonus 0.5 points for killing flyers, IC , AV12+ (13 is +1, 14 is +1.5), MC's and squads over 14 models (15-20 = 0.5, 21-30 = 1, 31-39 = 1.5 etc.)

I was thinking...

11 guardians

Warlock with spear

Wave Serpent with scatters, cannon, holo fields, ghostwalk matrix, crystal targeting matrix.

Crimson Hunter with Exarch and star cannons.



I do have most units though so can run anything at 500. What would you bring? What do you think of this list?

Second thoughts I could probably loose the crystal matrix for a lance on 10 guardians. The basic idea is to have the guardians hard to kill and let the serpent and Hunter engage at range. I just like the idea of a free redeployment the crystal brings.

War walkers are good in small games. If your going to take serpents I would take 2.

Well I can take 2 serpents with scatters, cannon and fields with guardians or dragons; or 1 with walkers. I know others are bringing tervigons though so I like the Hunter to annoy them.

How would you arm the walkers?

you will go beast mode on pretty much anyone, and there's nothing that anyone brings you can't deal with. Warp spiders are the best aa in Eldar codex other than flyers, but also 10x more versatile and useful

i would go for in 500 points with thos resrtictions....
wave serpent with 5 dire avengers, tl scatter lasers, shuiken cannon, holo feilds. 210

war walker with x2 scatter lasers.

that list is putting out 26-28 s6 -7 shots a turn.
pretty good for only 500 points.
