I am quite bored, so to invent myself something to do, I am here now to ask you to give me proposals of what to convert. I would like the conversions to be quite easy and fast, but fun to do, the kits from which to convert somethin are: chaos space marine possessed, wood elf dryads, space marines, grey knights in power armour, imperial guard and tons of other bits. Anyways, you could always repose chaos marines, and give the model some depth and maybe a small story to go with it. Try to make every model individualistic.

Make preheresy Death Guard from the grey knights!

Make an inquisitor and henchmen, good allies to any imperial army, good for converting and painting.

I'll second the Inquisitor retinue, it's something that allows you to go completely mental and use a bit of everything, and there's a ton of inspiration out on the web too get you going.
