So, interceptor allows units to smash an enemy arriving from reserve.

My question is simply this: with a drop pod, when is the interceptor shot fired?

1)During the drop pods drop? Spand if so how would it affect the pod?
2) After the pod has landed but before the unit disembarks?
3) After the unit has disembarked?
