I've read some muddled posts on the issue of whether you have to take relics or warlord traits from one book or the next....

So do you have the option of taking the SOT Bolter drill, but choosing the Codex SM warlord traits/relics, or are you locked into everything SOT????

I know for sure that if you use SoT, you are locked out of your normal relics for SoT's relic. SoT also overrides the normal chapter tactics with its own.

Iirc, when you use a Supplement book, you have choice, but mutually exclusive ones:
- you may roll the warlord trait chhosing the table from brb, codex, supplement
- yoy may pick among the supplement relic list instead of the codex list, obviously you can not mix the two

So now, that's pretty much 2 conflicting answers. The posts I saw said if you pic the warlord traits you have to pick the relics, but if you pick the relics, you can choose which warlord traits.
