You're thinking of Z.O.D. It's made by the Tehnolog Company that makes Roboger and the plastic sci-fi terrain kits that are sold in the USA by Pegasus. (gothic, power, hexagon, platformer, etc) It's still available on EBAY, though the seller that had it for the best price currently doesn't have any for sale.

Make sure to include the periods in the name or nothing will come up.

Glad to help. Obscure miniatures are one of my favorite parts of the wargaming hobby.

If you search for "ZOD 15mm" or "ZOD mechs", (leave the periods out this time) you'll find a number of folks who have reviewed and even painted a few of these. The consensus seems to be that the mechs and vehicles are 10mm or 6mm for the smaller ones, but some are big enough to be 15mm light mechs.

Unfortunately the 15mm infantry are illegal recasts (slightly modified) of GZG troopers so I've avoided the line for now, but as someone who games in 10mm, the mecha are quite tempting.
