WH40k is well known for making little to no sense, and is full of possible interpretations. Here, I hope to see what kinds of things you have learned from the 40k universe's logic, be it from the miniatures, the TT game mechanics, 40k video games, the fiction and that one movie

To kick this off, a little mathammer, meme style:

1 x lasgun = flashlight
100 x lasgun = wide-angle deathray.

10 Orks = "We'z can get skared, dere'z too few of us!"
11 Orks = "Dere'z so many ov us, I kan't count! We'z unstoppabul!"

1 tractor + 1 battlecannon = One of the most powerful vehicles in the universe.

Having a 70+ foot tall MC with a toe in cover statistically means 33% of your shots will miss.

Vox radios mean you are more likely to understand orders within shouting distance, but do not work beyond around 50 feet.

Artillery units are better sniper rifles than... erm, sniper rifles.

A Space Marine without a helmet is 3 orders of magnitude more dangerous than one with a helmet. If he also has a scar or two, make that seven orders.

Forests/mountains can spring up in front of your carefully positioned defence lines.

A fish-faced alien using a red dot sight is as accurate as a Space Marine veteran who's spent centuries in the field. Also, red dot sights mean cover doesn't exist.

When fliers are concerned, the laws of aerodynamics cease to matter.

If you have one guy left from an army of 100, but he's holding a relic, and the enemy force is still intact, it is a legitimate victory.

When both sides hold equal ground, whoever shot first wins.

Remember that the space mrines stop for a quick cig after disembarking from a rhino. Charging can wait.

Most battles take up 40-60 seconds on the actual battle field (like 5-6 shots with a tank). During this time a totally dark night time will suddenly become broad daylight.

A forest that your unit entered has suddenly become metallic.

The river your units are crossing is now lava! Whoah, I never saw that one coming!

The big mean fast daemon sees his opponent on open ground, like 3 meters before him. He runs at him screaming, eating a hail of bullet fire aaaaaaaand he trips right where he stood allowing the enemy to empty their whole clip in its face. (Snake eyes, how about that...)

A lumbering tyranid monstrosity pops out of the ground tearing a rhino in half. It is only fair that it should ravage that squad of space marines standing near, right? Right? Guys?

In any given situation, Space Marines cannot concieve of the use of a force with more than three predator tanks.

Red ones go fasta.

Mad Dok Grotsnik is a really cool guy, uses Look Out Sir! 20 Times for Redeemer fire, his painboy tools to fix half of the charred boyz, and is not afraid of anything.

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

Creed knows some universe-bending science BS that allows him to hide a Warlord Titan behind a pebble, in order to TACTICAL GENIUS his enemy into submission.

Every so often, the laws of the universe will change entirely for no good reason - men will suddenly be able to move and shoot at full range, or gain the ability to throw grenades at the enemy.
On this subject, most races believe overkill is fine - except when uding grenades. You must only use one per squad. Any more is too mean :(
A weapon you can shoot into the sky well probably can't also shoot down.
When it comes to the physical fitness of men and xenos, there are both absolute standards and no standards in existance paradoxically. Clearly an elderly priest should be able to outrun an Eldar Harlequin half the time, and both share an average speed.

Pretre: OOOOHHHHH snap. That's like driving away from hitting a pedestrian.
Pacific:First person to Photoshop a GW store into the streets of Kabul wins the thread.
Selym: "Be true to thyself, play Chaos" - Jesus, Daemon Prince of Cegorach.
H.B.M.C: You can't lobotomise someone twice.
