Hi YMDC,

Reading the DA codex, it says sacred standards (Bolter banner, FNP Banner, etc) are one per force.

Does this mean one per force org? Or one per army period? Reason I'm asking, I have a 4000 pt game coming up, and would like to take both the bolter banner and the FNP banner. (Also going to run this by my opponent, I think he'll agree as in the fluff it mentions a battle where are three were fielded).

One per army would mean never more then one, even if you have more then one detachment of DA.

An 'army' is your entire force, no matter how many primary or allied detachments you have. If it is one per 'army', then one is all you would be able to take.

Alright, some clarification to my original question:

Wording from the Codex: You may select one sacred standard per force.

Am I correct in assuming that double force org would let me choose two sacred standards?

What I've seen says the following:

Only one of the Sacred Standards may be chosen per army, even if you have more than one Command Squad (of any type) in your force.

No. You would be incorrect in that assumption. However, if your opponent says it is ok, go for it!
