I've got a small battle at my GW to graduate into their gaming club, so I thought to cheese my way in I'd design a a silly Iron Warriors CC-themed army with not one, not two, but three (oh my) Maulerfiends - I love them, and they get undeserved flak, so I thought I'd make them my centrepiece for this list. The plan is to have the warpsmith move as close as possible behind the maulerfiends after shattering some defences before the first turn, and watch carnage unfold. The jump pack Sorcerer and Raptors are for possible tank hunting, but mainly some CC as MoS enables them first hit most of the time and Icon of Excess is wonderful. I'm gonna hope to get Hysterical Frenzy on the Slaanesh psychic table, and put the rest into telepathy. Cultists are at minimum purely because of the FOC requireing two troops; if I didn't have to take them, I woudn't..

I think 2 warpsmiths may be overkill, but decent in your cultist squads. MoN is only really needed on your warlord to prevent instagibbing.
If nothing else, get melta bombs on the raptor champ. Having some extra AT if you need it can make or break a game, particularly on a fast unit.
3 maulerfiends and a raptor squad will make a nice fast rush army. Consider getting a jump pack sorcerer or lord to go with the raptors as a second smith is probably overkill, even for repairing the fiends(they are generally too fast and either die outright or make it)

Hmm, I like the idea of a Jump Sorc. Roll on the Slaanesh table and hope for Hysterical Frenzy, then put the rest in Telepathy. Thanks for that info, that could help greatly.

Looking good. Consider melta bombs for your sorcerer as well, since you have the points spare.
