If it fails, the regiment simply has no reinforcements it can spare for the Squad, and its members must soldier on until its members can put in another request for troop support.
- Pride Over Life: Squad members must pass a Difficult (–10) Willpower Test to refuse any formal challenge or ignore any other major slight to their honour. If he succeeds on the Test, he sees the bigger picture and ignores the challenge or attempt to goad him into action. If he fails on the Test, however, he must engage the individual in question (either in a duel to settle matters in a formal and stylised fashion or simply in a brawl to express himself with his fists) or suffer a –10 penalty to Willpower Tests for the remainder of the session. This penalty is cumulative should he refuse multiple challenges to his dignity over the course of a single session. The Game Master can modify the difficulty of the Test—and the scale of the effects of failing it—as he deems appropriate to the situation

Generally the PC's help create the regiment (my preference), but sure, I'll throw my hat in there if you lift the ban on support specialists

Sorry but none of the Support Specialists fit my regiment (and most of them don't even belong in a Squad with Human, what was FFG's thinking?), if you can tell me which specialest you would like to play then I might make some fluff to fit it (Not Abhummans)

So no specialists, you made the regiment and wont flex on that. You changed the Guardsmen classes when it really didn't need to be changed. I, my son, will not be joining in your shenanigans. It seems theres no fun to be had here

No support specialists fit with your regiment, but your world is meant to be a schola progenium? A world where two of the support specialists are specifically raised and trained? That seems like an odd bit of background. Maybe you should change the world type if you don't want to have support specialists.

And there are only 2 kinds of support specialists who don't exist in the IG codex in a unit of humans/are human, and one of those does have a way to (Nork, an Ogryn, can be part of a CCS).

The World counts as a Schola Progenium but is actually a paradise world (Well was until 'The Battle of Beasts' [Hive Fleet Titus invasion], now its a wasteland), its just representing that Vasus has a very good military school.

They have only recently joined the Imperium, so don't like Commissars, Storm Troopers etc.

They don't like psykers because of 'The War of Gods' (Cultists of Khorne and Tzeentch trying to take the world) where they were almost destroyed by them.

They consider Ogryns to stupid to follow orders (hence make tactics more difficult) and Ratlings to worried about there own skin to be any use.Classes.

I might let in a Tech-priest, but it would be a counts as Vasan engineer.

I hope you understand.

Edit: for those who wise to see Vasan-pattern Weapons here is the link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AigrU5SQwwQAdGlyMUpDQ1llZUl5YnJyMG1uYnRNd3c&usp=sharing

2nd Edit: Also note that the 1st Vasan 'Black Guard' are an all male regiment, but since there will be times that you are on the home-world, I advise that you give your character a family and/or friends that live on Vasus

I'm interested I'll put in for the medic or just a regular guardsman.
