I am dusting off my TWC for a few games because my Daemons have been losing me friends! I still am trying to make a competitive but with now FMC, fliers, or 2++ rerolls.

Shame that you have to change if your "friends" have based their friendship with you on the type of army you play.. but to each their own. This is not the place, and I digress:

Your list is a fine example of a SW army with TWC cavalry. There are plenty of threats that would allow your army to function with the removal of the TWC unit, and the TWC are built effectively so that they can operate should the support elements be removed.

I really like it.. While I don't play SW myself, I am a regular opponent of similar lists. The only change I would make is to automatically generate powers from Divination and put the RPs in with the Long Fangs because that's what hurts me the most. Of course, YMMV.

You should use this list. It reaches your goal of a competitive list that does not include FMC, fliers or grimoire'd Tzeentch units. :p

I run a droppod list at the moment... it's fun

Your list looks good. A RP with divination together with the Long Fangs will help against flyers. Maybe do that with your warlord.

That' the only thing I would maybe do different, that just depends on playing style I guess.

I haven't faced grimoired daemons yet. Do you think a jaws heavy droppod list stands a chance against them? Obviously I would try and take that unit out before grimoire goes off

It would be a very hard match. It all really just depends on the list. You would have lots of problems with a all flying list.

I play a similar looking list, and the only thing I would try to find pts for is a WolfClaw for the Wolf Lord. The fist and claw net you the extra attack, and you don't waste I5 when you may want it.

With all the storm shields the TWC are packing, he should be with a Belt of Russ.
