Hello, im pretty new to 40k and im looking to put together an army list thats a mixture of Grey Knights and Sisters of Battle
I'm looking to make use of the new inquisitor codex mostly cause i like the fluff but i still want it to be competitive. If any one
has any suggestions please let me know. Help on tactics for these armies would also be greatly appreciated .

I would advise against using all 3 codexes in your army as you will waste a lot of points on unnecessary hq and troop selections. Try and stick to 1 or 2.

well from what i understand the inquisitor codex is just an upgrade to alot of the HQ units in both the sisters of battle and grey knights codexs.
Im not sure, if i would only choose two it would be GK and the new inquisitors codex

Really the Grey Knight marines are somewhat expensive and redundant as troops, though you can unlock the Storm Raven or Dreadknight by taking Coteaz as a Grey Knights HQ choice and an allied inquisitorial warband as troops. This will allow you to still take bare bones inquisitors for twin linking exorcists and whatnot depending on what you roll.

Downside here is that Coteaz is limited as a GK ally since he loses battle brother and therefore can't cast his psychic powers on the sisters units.

The list would be something like

Bone Stock Canoness HQ (Sits on emplaced gun for BS5)
Sororitas command squad with heavy bolters/hospitaler

2 units of sisters in rhinos with bone stock priests for fearless and hymns

1-2 fast attack Sisters with a couple of Meltaguns/flamers in immolators to scout/outflank and pop backfield tanks.

1-2 exorcists

Aegis Line/lascannon (with BS5 and AP2 more likely to pop or vector lock a flyer with a pen)

Grey Knights:

Coteaz

Inquisitorial band 4 crusader 4 DCA Priest with power maul

Stormraven with the goodies or alternately a land raider.

Ordo hereticus inquisitor with inferno pistol, psyker, power armor.

Additional options could be

Inquisitorial warbands in Valkyries for taking objectives

Dreadknight(s)

Seraphim with twin hand flamers for hordes.

Chimeras with psybolts

Ordo Xenos inquisitor with rad/psych-out grenades or divination psyker.

Have to play around with it points wise.
