The pieces are from a Space Crusade Dreadnought and of course the gunner from an attack bike. The Sarge is half modern plastic legs from my bits pile and then the torso from a RT biker whos scanner I'm counting as an Omniscope. I made the Hurricane Bolter out of bits from old Storm Bolters and a HK chute, one unlucky Chaos Space Marine is getting ripped to shreds by the Sarge's extra Chainsword arm (from an old IG Sentinel) representing his extra Attack. The bases I made of sculpey, and while a little rough, do meet size requirments (50mm).
As I always warn people Im no golden demon winner but I wanted to have fun making an original conversion Ide never seen, they look sort of goofy like something straight out of Rogue Trader which is what I wanted since, as cool a model the new Centurions are, I didnt want them in my RT army, so now for something completely different... a squad with three war-walkers!

happy turkey day everybody!

Gnarly! Nice personalized Centurians.

[I finally saw the official models "in the flesh" and they are not nearly as big as I imagined them to be - these seem to be close enough, plus have the Rule of Cool going for them.]

So, main armament = ? They look like Heavy Bolters, but I thought everyone was building Grav/Amps. Just curious....

thanks,

I think im going to buy a legit box later and probably do a build out with Gravs, this one I was kind of more interested in doing cause I had two extra sets of SC dread legs which have the Heavy Bolters built in. Im thinking about doing something with my last set of legs could green stuff a mount for the grav/amps something for the future though now just trying to finish up the company, soooooo close

Those are really cool! Love them!

1. Go to FLGS on a 40K game night.
2. Announce to no one in particular "I have over 10,000 points of Space Marines".
3. Sit back and watch as some 30-ish Neckbeard who still lives with his parents not only disputes your claim, but goes on to describe his 30,000 points of Blood Angels and how he has been playing since Rogue Trader days... And yet you will have never seen him either play 40K or that army.
4. From here, you have several options. Continue the conversation, or just end it. Either way, I guarantee you will waste 1+ hour of your life talking to this guy. Have fun!
