Evening All.
Looking through the cron dex and wanted to see what people thought of this.
Based around my 2 favourites necron kits, Wraiths and Tomb Spyders.

DesLords join the Wraith to tank hits for them, scarabs eat armour, immortals stay in night scythes for late objective grabbing and sypder give me 9 monstorous creatures on the table.
bit different compared to local meta.
Anyone think its any good? fun? any suggestions?

This is similar to a list i was using recently, it works fairly well, the only issue i had was the speed difference between the spyders and the scarabs,
Oh and overwatch from flamers (onboard transports) was a painful thing
what are you arming your immortals with

The immortals will carry standard kit. they are going to stay off board for as long as possible.
Transports (well, all vehicles) cannot overwatch mate. think someone has got the rules wrong if thats the case.

Hm... Only one unit to add the scarabs onto...? I guess there are a lot of armies who can recognize the danger and Alpha strike that blob early doors. And when you're whole list is based around the farm... Potentially bad news. Because with only two units that can claim objectives you are kind of relying on the scarabs getting up in their grill. If I had a tau list with two rip tides or imperial guard with a couple if manticores or whatever.
And even if you don't.... You are happy to only have two possible scoring units. One of them will foot slog on...

well i will have essentially 5 scoring units for certain scenarios with Fast attack and Heavy support filled up.
Question is what would you change to improve the list?

Passengers of a transport can overwatch from fire points
I would look at dropping a spyder for some warrior, just to sit on your deployment zones objective, this then frees up the immortals to claim others
