Hey all, I'm just about finished with what has been one of my funnest models to paint, I'm curious what others opinions are on this guy. He is Sammael the master of the ravenwing.

PS this is my first attempt at actually painting eyes instead of just wash shadowing them.

Looks pretty good from the pictures.

Your wash is really think on the cloak I'd try to knock that back a bit to just the darker parts and highlight up on the ridges.

Looks great. If you fancy doing some writing on the book that'd look cool. You can get a microfine pen - 0.1mm tip - which works great for micro writing!!

Pretty nice, really. I like freehand stuff on the models.

The baby-blue power sword is something i'd try to do different. I've seen a nice effect on a sword just by stepwise layering of greys (brighter to the top, darker to the ground). But those shiny-colored power weapons seem to be either irrevocable canon or the generally accepted look.
