I bought the basic game a few weeks ago and played with my buddy and step son. I like it... A lot.

I'll be the one buying for everyone, so do you guys have suggestions for next purchases after the basic set? Seems like YT1300 an A or Y. and some tie fighters? Suggestions?

The basic wisdom I think is to get another starter set, and one x wing and one tie fighter.

That way you get the models cheaply, and the upgrade and pilot cards in the standalone x wing and tie fighter.

I plumped to splurge on 2 starters, 1 x wing, 1 tie, 1 tie/adv, the falcon and slave 1.
