I was wondering what color scheme could be used for my IG Army - Bearing in mind that I would prefer either the khaki or green that the standard IG use Army Info Below:

Regiment Origin: Imperial Guard- A true regiment, drilled and competent in their service.
Regiment Demographic: Spacers- Born on asteroids, off-world hab-stations, or the vessels of the Imperial Navy.
Nature of Recruitment: Standard conscription- Average or above-average citizens recruited from all levels of society.
Regiment Home-world: Imperial World- Devout citizens, loyal to the Imperium and raised by the Creed.
Predominant Terrain: Ice- Cold-blooded, with hearts of fire.
Regiment Core Units: Infantry Regiment.
Specialization: Close Combat (may not be included).
Loyalty Rating: Fanatical- No remorse, no retreat, no fear.
Special Equipment: Preferred Fighting Style.
Regiment Creed: Glory In Death- The regiment's mission is to die, and take as many enemies with it as possible.
Regiment Friends: Inquisition
Regiment Enemies: Chaos Space Marines

"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy, but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavors, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

If you want something fairly similar to the Cadian studio scheme, but still unique, there are a couple of models in the IG codex that stlll have the green armour but have paler, almost white, fatigues, which might fit your ice-world theme.

I like the green they use as well so if you wanted to keep that on the armor, I'd say something like this

for the clothing would be cool, matching the "splotches" more to the green on the armor obviously

Edit: another idea is maybe go with a lighter fatique like the above poster and have the armor have a base of green that was overpainted with white and scraped to reveal the green beneath like on the german helmets like this one:

There's alot of good techniques to achieve this look as well

How about a lighter Khaki in a camo format, with the highights as a different camo "splotch", but what should I use for the Armour?

I think that the scratched green and a very light blue for the armor and a creamy-white for the fatigues, what do you think?

Sounds cool. Try it out on a scrub guardsman, see if it fits what you're going for! And show us!

Sure, I'm no expert though. I don't mind looking at others' works and offering advice.
