Soooooo. I absolutely hate my warboss. I need ideas for building a cool warboss or other leader for my boyz. I really am not picky about how he is equipped or what kind of boss he is. I just really find the bosses that are available through games workshop to be boring. I am open to boss on a bike or in mega armour or just vanilla. I would love for people to post suggestions or images of their conversions for a little inspiration. I have metal boss body and I thin I may even have a bike available to build the conversion. Any help would be great.

I know it goes against orkyness but id make a really posh ork for my warboss if i ever could do them (i hate orks so...) but monicle suit and cane etc.

What is it you don't like about the current range? I would prefer to know what you don't like so I don't suggest it to you.

I made my warboss out of the blackreach one, switch the head with a alternate pirate orky head and add a old vampire counts skeleton banner; the warboss on bike I just got from FW; the images are in my gallery here:

Where do I start with what I hate about the current range? First there is only one warboss even available and he has a combi flamer and squig. It aggravates me that he has no choppa. The Aobr boss is plastic but looks very boring but is equipped well with a claw and cybork head. The wierdboy is ugly and I hate the grot minder specifically the chain that he is hanging off of that is straight. No chain take direct angles the chain looks more like a textured pole than a chain. The only mek boy that looks any good at all is the shokk attack gun. But he is finecast. Now I did not jump on the fc hate Waggon untill after Bought several finecast models which since have all warped into new more warp tainted models that are now completely deformed. I do not have to treat my model like some kind of priceless antique. I keep them secure in foam and rarely expose them to extreme temperatures but I don't want the one time I forget my model in the car to result in my $40 model being ruined. grotsnick looks horrid and there will be new mega armour after the new dex comes out making gazgull just as obsolete. I just want a good looking warboss or other leader.

Convert a Nob or even a boy into a warboss is not hard.

If you want it in mega armor, maybe kitbash a killa kan with a boy, and go for "the big Smallunn", a boy who got tired of never getting bigger (for some gene defect) and give itself for Mek-Doc experimentation. After some operations, he went bigger and started to stomp everything in the way, adding more shine stuff after each new stomp

Use some big guy of any company to convert a nice plastic warboss (AoBR is a nice piece, and easy to convert too).

And the chain on the weirdboy is straight because it exactly holding the boy near the ground. But it is not hard to clip it in to places and add your own chain to it (or just, cut the entire chain thing off).

Here is mine I am working on, he is based off the Kromlech mega nobs and I had absolute need to do this as my Kromlech meganobs dwarf my current Warboss. FYI if you do not want to convert the Kromlech ones could easily pass for a Warboss on their own. The Kromlech mega nob is to the left of my boss, followed by the GW mega nob. Poor picture quality does not do the Kromlech justice.
