Hi All,

medium term project for campaign weekends and suchlike, so I would like it to be competitive, but its not tournament so more important to have a good game than cream the opponent with cheese

HQ - Vulkan He'stan - 190
HQ - Terminator Libby with Lvl 2 Mastery - 115
HQ - Pellas Mir'san (think forgeworld chars will be ok) - 150

Troops - Tac Squad, 10 Man, Flamer and Multi-Melta in Drop Pod x 4 - 760
Troops - Tac Squad 10 Man, Flamer and Missile Launcher in Drop Pod (combat squad and hope for late turn deployment for line-breaker) - 195

Elites - Terminator Squad, 5 man with Heavy Flamer in Land Raider Redeemer x 2 - 900
Elites - Sternguard 5 man all with Combi-meltas in drop pod - 195

Heavy Support - Centurions 3 Man, 2 Stock, Serg with Lascannons, MC Missile Launcher and Omni-scope - 230
Heavy Support - Whirlwind - stock
Heavy Support - Storm Raven Multimelta, Lascannon - 200

*****

Generally a Drop List with Mech Support,

Whirl sits behind LOS blocking stuff, near to the 5 man objective holders combat squaded with the missile launchers and the Centurions

Land Raiders Move up the board holding in one 5 termies and the libby and in the other 5 Termies, Pellas and Vulkan

Raven helps with air issues, and any mech is missing air on the opposition

Drops would be 3 in the first turn, so that'd be 2 Tacs and the Suicide Sternguard, who pop the most painful super-heavy I can find on the board, if they can survive into turn two, they'll start harrasing as best they can, Tac-Squads drop in at 12" for pens with the multimeltas, or double shots with bolterfire, dependant on opponent, other 3 come in near objectives etc

will this just die to superheavies, or does it stand any chance?

thanks
