Subject: The entopic host: Demons from my mixed deathgurad/nurgle army (cthulhu and more pics added 11/30)
So I always wanted to do a mixed demon/geath guard army but I hated the old plaguebearers. They finally made good looking one in plastic so I took the plunge and started the army. I'm useing dryad as deamonettes, bones worms as beasts of nurgle, and khorne hounds painted as plague hounds. Obviously plaguebearers are as is, along with nurglings and epidemius. sorry about the jumbled pics, things got out of order at some point and I can't un tangle all the url codes. Any questions about whats what just ask comments and criticism welcome and desired.
Next we have dryads standing in for demonettes
Automatically Appended Next Post: oops, forgot the plague hounds. These guys are a bit beat uip as the box they are in took a tumble off a shelf in the closet. Never liked these models but a friend gave me the contents of a demon battle force and these were in it. After removing the khorne symbols and drilling in nurgles symbols, I think they actually look more nurgle than khorne. Looking at the pic blown up I realize I did a very half hearted paint job. I'll probably go back and touch these up a bit.

Subject: The entopic host: Demons from my mixed deathgurad/nurgle army (pic heavy)
Heres a few more pics of the demons. I use Cthulhu as my great unclean one. I know hes got wings, but does anybody really think those things could lift his bulk?
Heres my converted soul grinder. I always hated the head on this miniature and I wanted it to look more nurgle, so I used a head from the fantasy giant with a horn from a chaos ogre, and scatch built a new sword. The black legion defiler chasis the demon used to build his body is nod to my first 40k army ever, a black legion force that I canabalized to build this force and my wordbearers.
These guys are blight demons from heresy minitures that I use as my herlads of nurgle. I love the cut off heads.
