MFA = Modeling for advantage.

MFA usually means modelling for advantage in the context of wargaming. And TFG means 'that fething guy', often used incorrectly to mean any competitive player, but usually reserved for those who lie/cheat/act incredibly rudely over a game meant for fun

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

I saw a link in a thread a couple of days ago to all the dakka dakka abbreviations but I can't find it now
Most of the time (if your on a computer) you can just hold the mouse over the abbreviation (in yellow) and it'll show you the definition.
If you're on your phone or tablet you can go to the bar up top and "switch theme" off the mobile one then it should work too

LoS can also mean Look Out Sir as well now. I remember LoS was Line of Site, and LoS! was Look out Sir, but people don't use the ! any more for Look Out Sir.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

You would NOT do well in ATT then, with the entire "crisis suit naming system" we got.
