There is a 40k competition in January I want compete in. I have never played at a sanctioned event before. I usually just play friends casually. This will be an adventure for me since I have never really played against any armies other than Chaos Marines and Eldar. This is the army I plan on fielding as of right now.

HQ: Nemesor Zahndrekh 185
HQ: Cryptek - 25 + Harbinger Despair 5 + Veil of Darkness 30 60

Royal Court: Lord 35 + Orb 30 + warscythe 10 75
Lord 35 + Orb 30 + Warscythe 10 75
Cryptek 25 + Harbinger Despair 5 + Veil of Darkness 30 60

Troops: Warriors 65 - +5 Warriors 65 130
Warriors 65 - +5 Warriors 65 130
Immortals 85- +5 Immortals 85 170
Immortals 85- +5 Immortals 85 170
Immortals 85 + Tesla carbines 0 85

Elites: Triarch Stalker 150
Triarch Stalker + Particle Shredder 5 155
Deathmarks 95

Heavy Support: Doomscythe 175
Doomscythe 175

Transport: Nightscythe 100

1990 points total. The way it seems to read in codex i can have 2 crypteks with Veil of Darkness upgrade because 1 is in Royal court and 1 in a HQ choice. This set-up to me seems to cover most of my possible needs.

Well, don't post individual pt costs, since they are GW's intellectual property.
Not a bad list. However, mobility is key.
