New to the forum, but definitely not new to Warhammer, I still remember reading White Dwarf when it was a great RPG magazine without any Warhammer content whatsoever...

Mainly play 40K but have recently got into Fantasy

Main armies:

Space Wolves
Blood Angels
Grey Knights
(haven't really collected 50K since 5th edition)

Ogre Kingdoms
Skaven
High Elves
(last two mainly from box set - with a few additions)

Not a the greatest player or painter but still like doing both

Welcome aboard the good ship Daki Dak, PotentiallyLethal! I too vaguely recall issues of WD that bear no semblance at all to the current 'glossy catalogue' that GW like to print these days...

If you ever fancy bringing any or your armies to narrative campaign weekends (where everyone's friendly and in it for the fluff as opposed to power-gaming) then check out Animosity Events. We're always keen to welcome new players!
