Hey all, so after digging through some boxes I came across some Tau models I sorta forgot about with my ever failing attention span...lol

Basically I've got:
Dark Strider
x1 Crisis Suit
x24 Fire Warriors
x 1 Devilfish
x1 Hammerhead

Not a terrible start, but if I were drop about $100 what should.be considered? I suppose it isn't much considering Riptides are $80 haha

Any ideas?
Thanks!

bulk out the Crisis Team. buying the 3-man box gives you two squads of 2, which the Internet considers the best ( I wouldn't know, Necrons + IH here, I just know what I see across the board)

I would also recommend a second Hammerhead, just for extra point, click and enjoy explosions.

then as someone is guaranteed to say sooner or later, a couple of Broadsides after that to handle AA

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also, get a Crisis Commander and use Dark Strider as a Fireblade. (May want an ADL to get full use of that though.)

If you get the Hammerhead get magnets to build as skyray, ion head, railhead converter.

If you like a suit list then get a couple XV8 boxes. If you like a gunline, 2 more boexes of fire warriors and an Ethereal.

Since you already have DarkStrider get him a squad of Pathfinders.

I'd grab a bunch of crisis suits and pathfinders. If you don't mind second hand stuff, you could grab like 5 crisis suits, 2 broadsides, and a few pathfinders for a little over 100 if you are patient on ebay.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys/girls!

Has anyone had any experience with either the sun or razro shark? They seem interesting.

Thanks!

They are widely regarded as useless, but my mate's Razorshark fair well enough

Out of the 2, the sun shark is more useful as it's interceptor drones are really good and solid AA

They don't do anything for the army that other units don't do better, unfortunately. I would rather take a pair of Broadsides with Missiles.

The Razor is not a bad dog fighter except against the Hadescannon hellturkey. Most of the rest it is pretty good at getting tail pipe shots and keeping in a good fire position on thanks to the 270degree turret.
