Hey there

Just picked up a box of Killa Kans and a Deff Dread as christmas presents for my girlfriend.

However, when I got them home, I noticed that they had the old colours listed on the back of the boxes (Anyone remember Boltgun Metal? )
Then I checked the copyright info which said 2009, meaning they are nearly 4 years old!

So my question is this:
Has these kits changed enough to be missing awesome stuff? Or is it just a new box design?

Thanks!

If they're plastic, nothing has changed other than the box. The older versions were metal.

The Ork codex hasn't been updated since 2008.

The kits aren't missing anything awesome, though more gunz in each kit would have been nice..

IIRC they wren't released in 2009, just designed then. I think we got them approx 2011 ish.

As said, that makes them newer than the Codex. GW kits aren't like computer parts - they usually update them for a new Codex release or other campaign, not just because.

I don't know anything about that, but both boxes say Copyright Games Workshop 2000 - 2009
