Playing around with lists to represent my Exodite Eldar on the tabletop. The following is essentially a footdar list with some jetbikes thrown in for last minute objective grabbing. I don't expect to win tournaments, but I am a reasonably experienced player who would like to win at least 50 percent of friendly games.
Avatar, fast shot - 205
Autarch, Lance, Bike, Mantle - 135
10 Dire Avengers - 130
10 Dire Avengers - 130
8 Rangers - 96
3 Jetbikes - 51
3 Jetbikes - 51
3 Jetbikes - 51
10 Harlequins, 9 kisses, shadowseer - 250
10 Striking Scorpions, exarch, claw - 210
10 Striking Scorpions, exarch, claw - 210
Wraithlord, 2 flamers, 2 Bright Lances - 160
Wraithlord, 2 flamers, 2 Bright Lances - 160
Wraithlord, 2 flamers, 2 Bright Lances - 160
Any comments and critisism would be more than welcome, but I would be especially interested in hearing thoughts on my troop selections, scorpion unit sizes, jetbike unit sizes and wraithlord loadouts.

Executing Exarch

Overall, it looks pretty good. Your troops are fine, and for the most part can be reserved. Jetbikes hide to turbo boost late game, rangers can outflank or infiltrate as needed. Avengers are very good on foot, even more so with the avatar. 8 rangers is a bit large, and even in a full squad their shooting is not all that powerful. Smaller squads are easy to sneak in and hide in terrain.
Scorpions do best in big squads, as they are functionally there to escort the exarch to challenges. They can drown enemies in attacks, and can take a decent punch(by eldar standards). You should consider getting monster hunter for each squad. It is dirt cheap, and a full squad of 10 scorpions with monster hunter will average killing a tervigon in 1 turn! (Shooting+charge)
Harlequins are hit and miss. Very expensive, but dead lethal. If you don't get veil of tears up and your opponent shoots them they are dead. If you fail the test, they are dead. They are very risky for the price, and you might be better off running another unit. Also, their point cost is a bit off.
Since you have no other source, wraithlords need to be your long ranged AT with dual lances. Swords are good, but by no means required.
You have a lot of bodies, strong MC presence and some scoring units that could possibly stay hidden till turn 4. Anti tank is a concern, you might want to get some spiders over harlequins for a fast unit. Good for AT, and most other things.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

I would also trade the Harlequins for Spiders.
Drop 2 Rangers...
Get a Fusion gun on the Autarch.
And see if you have points for shimmershield exarchs in the dire avengers. (This last one is debatable)
And I also like the glaive on the Lords...not for the strength but for the mastercraft with so few attacks.

I agree with Ductvader, but would drop rangers down to even 5 man.

...and if you have 5 points after all that...Solitaire gets a Banshee Mask.
It's often not necessary but means that if you charge you always strike first.

Try this on then; dropped the harlies, took a full squad of spiders, fusion gun on the solitaire for more AT, and shimmershield exarchs on the DAs for added invun.

That's a pretty list. Fairly strong, well rounded, and actually fun.

If you play a air heavy list ( my meta is air heavy) you will probably die, the spiders will most likely down 1 but the WL will won't do anything.
You can swap out both units of avengers for 2 hunters with Pl and 2 BL and all your flyer and AV problems will go away.

Fortunately I play in a very low air meta (as in almost nil, most of us play armies that would have looked more at home in 3rd edition, when we started). Especially given that flyers really wouldn't suit the rustic aesthete I'm going for with the exodites.
That, and dropping the avengers would mean eliminating my two main troop units.

Since air isn't in your meta that gives you a big chance to rule the table.
Also a friend of mine at my LFGS plays Eldar exodites and he uses the High Elf frost pheonix with a mounted turret (with i had pics).

If one of us begins to use aircraft then everyone will have to, simply in order to counter each other's aircraft. That, or every single list will get a defence line with quad gun; this wouldn't really enhance anyone's enjoyment of the game.
