Subject: Frenzy and being knocked down

Me and a friend were playing a game the other day and we are both fairly new to Waramahordes. We had a situation come up and I was wondering if we played it correctly. Basically my Carnivean was in B2B with Kaya?( the Circle lock from the two player starter), The Carnivean had been knocked down in the previous turn from Kayas weapon. At the beginning of my turn I was unable to remove all the fury from the Carnivean and he failed his threshold check. So the question that came up was since the Carnivean met criteria 1. for the threshold was does the Carnivean forfeit his movement action and basically get to stand up and attack Kaya? We played it as such but we were both kind of unsure if we played it correctly or not. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, he forfeits movement and attacks Kaya.

The frenzy rules are something that you should know for certain but if a beast frenzies then it goes:
1: enemy model in beasts melee range
2: friendly model in beasts melee range
3: enemy model engaging beast.
4: closest model in line of sight. If no model is in LoS then the beast will frenzy on the closest model.
Number four catches people out as some people think it'll be closest enemy then friendly. Oh well.
Then if the model has to sacrifice movement or action then if the target is in melee range already it forfeits movement. If not, it forfiets action and advances towards the frenzy target.

Actually, number 4 should be closest model in LoS (charging it), and only if you don't have any models in LoS does it go after the closest model.
