I made this thread so beginners (like me) can learn how to better assemble, paint, and convert vehicles.

Before each post mark it as a question or an answer please.

Question: How do I make the door on my rhino stay shut? I mean it is kinda cool when i'm deploying and I painted the interior well, but it gets annoying.

First off, Welcome to Dakka.

You are better off asking specific questions about what you are having issues with rather than something open ended like this.

People are more then willing to jump in and help but most wont just type a mountain of text. That and most questions like "how to assemble X vehicle" can be found with a quick Forum Search.

Aside from that, post pictures of your work, ask for help, offer advice and have some fun.

Welcome!

yeah, overall, specific threads workout a bit better.

now...on to your question.

Most people use a magnet. You would super glue a small magnet into the door, and mount one inside the rhino.

There are about a dozen "magnetize a rhino" vids on youtube...check them out, they will help a lot.

Oh, and a lot of people get magnets from either their local hobby stores, or k&j magnetics.

best of luck!

Or you just say frak this and glue the doors shut and not bother with painting the inside.

For me, I magnetize the doors on so I can pull them off, stick sponsons on, and use the same vehicle as a Predator. Or a Razorback. Or Whirlwind.

Life isn't fair. But wouldn't it be worse if Life were fair, and all of the really terrible things that happen to us were because we deserved them?
