I was looking through the Daemon codex and I found out that at the beginning of your shooting phase you have to roll on the Warp Storm table and was wondering if that made daemons harder to play and what benefits and/or consequences it has on your army

Wrong location man. This would be best on general. To answer your question, it's really not that bad. It does take some effort as you have to remember to roll it and it requires book keeping a bit more than other things but it more often then not helps you out.
