The other day my Chaos Lord power-fisted a castle/fort to total collapse. it killed the chapter master and his guards inside. I think if a building is undergoing collapse like that, it should pose some danger to troops around it without an explosion, maybe a "rain of debits" that you roll to avoid?

I think you meant debris not debits.

Obviously debit cards in the 41st millennium are made of monomolecular plastic

As for the idea itself, I don't see why not, it's pretty straightforward and makes sense, especially when you compare it to the chance of a vehicle exploding from a Melee hit, as debris from a building is virtually guaranteed while vehicle explosions are only a fraction of the possibilities, so why one and not the other?

Ok, so we are in agreement, anyone know how this rule would work though?

Maybe an initiative test to dodge?
