Another challenger steps up to the plate! This time: Vince, winner of the Comikaze 2012 GT with his IG! Does his army have what it takes to finally take Frankie’s Deldar alliance down? Check out the Tactics Corner for more bat reps and articles!

huh, kind of a let down as a viewer. I was looking forward to another video bat-rep..

Sad. I wanted to see how the Avenger did.

@Atheos

Yeah, me too. I thought the Flyers and Plasmacutioners would help but the Wraithknight pummels tanks and when the flyers didn't come on, that was game.

@Dunn

Yeah, but, Vince took it with a smile. He just lost his heart to continue and we won't force anyone to carry on when they're morals is broke.

Really? I always thought the guy holding the camera also had a cattle prod. How else do you ensure respect?

That was a brutal licking. Looks like everyone had fun so it is all right but ouch.

My heart went out to my fellow guard player. When you are playing for turn 2 you sometimes die before then. Did he have an astropath or was it blown off the table before then? Kind of a must if all your killing power is in your reserves. Next time I’m up there I’m bringing my Avenger (which was painted beautifully by the gentlemen at Frontline with can be seen here http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/30/487842.page) up for avenge its fallen brother.

BAO 2015 : Best Space Wolves.

The best battle plans are the simplest. Just run forward and punch your enemy in the face.

As a player who is starting up a Dark Eldar army, these battle reports with Frankie's Deldar are very enlightening. It looks like you don't have Wyches or other melee units huh? Mostly Warriors with Venoms and Raiders. It's unfortunate that an army with so many cool melee units is at its strongest with guns. =/

@ansacs

Hahaha, we just throw rocks at them if they don't film the games!

@Panzer

Yeah, he needed reserve manipulations. When you have that many points in reserve, you need to ensure you get them when you need them.

@Dirty

Youc an go Melee, it is just harder to do in general in 6th ed. Incubi are tits, they just need an Archon with Phantasm to go with them.

Wyches are great meat shields for a true beat stick character like Vect. Grotes can get it done, too.

Coming from Tau, I wanted a different way to play the game and incubis, and grotesques seem like beasts.
