okay so while lurking on these forums, I hear a lot of talk about CSM list referred to as flying circus lists and lists with lots of monstrous creatures.. This sounds very different from the lists I see on the forums I normally visit.. Since I like monstrous creatures and flyers a lot, I'd hoped that someone would be so kind as to post some examples of said lists? And even better would be if said poster also explains a little bit about what makes the list "better" than regular infantry lists thx in advance

FMC lists are better than most basic infantry CSM/demon lists, and even Typhus/PMs/Zombies/Oblits/Nurgle bikes/Nurgle spawn/Heldrakes (the best pure CSM build, imo) have a hard time keeping up with good FMC lists.

Chaos Demons with CSM allies bring lots to the table as far as FMC's go. Usually you will see Screamers (I believe a list with 3 Heralds + Screamers are the most competitive demon lists, but here's a 2k list that doesn't use Screamers and has some CSM for the drake:

Fateweaver (Warlord)
Lord of Change- Lesser Reward, Exalted Reward
10 Plague Bearers
10 Plague Bearers
DP of Tz- Armor, Flight, Level 2, Lesser Reward
DP of Tz- Armor, Flight, Level 2, Lesser Reward
Be'lakor
10 Cultists
Heldrake- Baleflamer
ADL- Quadgun

You get:
-*some* control over Warp Storm Table
-The Lord of Change is an excellent combat unit (vs. taking just 3 demon princes as Heavy Support)
-Fateweaver's re-roll a d6 per turn ability
-Some anti-air in the form of ADL to add to your Vector Striking (FMCs). ADL also helps crack open light armor like Rhinos
-Heldrake because: Heldrake
-Has FS and HS slots (for Scouring and Big Guns Never Tire)

From personal experience, this 1999 list with Demons as Primary is much better than the one posted above. It won't make you friends, but then again if your friendships are based upon what you use in a game, well.. Anyway it's a good list:

Herald of Tz- Disc, Exalted Reward, Level 3
Herald of Tz- Disc, Exalted Reward, Level 3
Herald of Tz- Disc, Loc of Conjuration, Level 3

People say "just kill the Troops". Well. Dunno what to tell ya. It's a good list. People just try to say "I can beat that" no matter what. This is one of the top Demon lists in my area.

They look fun yeah.. But they also look to be 90%+ demons.. I own no demons :-) i play CSM.. Are there list that can work with that too.?

If you play as CSM, then bring two DP of your own, Cultists, 'Drakes. Ally in a LoC and a HS Tzeentch Daemon Prince.

Because CSM DPs have to be a Daemon of Chaos, they must always pick at least 1 Nurgle Psychic power.

Also, nurgle DPs don't unlock PMs as troops...

Also, Tzeentch DPs are exponentially more durable / powerful than CSM nurgle princes.
